A forehead lift, or “browlift,” is a surgical procedure that restores a more youthful, refreshed look to the area above your eyes. The procedure corrects drooping brows and improves the horizontal lines and furrows that can make a person appear angry or tired. A repositioned brow may also improve the hooding in the upper eyelid.
The surgery may be performed through multiple limited incisions within the hairline, utilizing a viewing instrument called an endoscope or conventionally via an incision across the scalp hidden just behind the hairline. Both procedures can yield similar results.
Browlifts may be combined with other procedures such as eyelid surgery and facelifts.
